Amy’s Annual Xmas Eve Run
– The ultimate get-you-out-of-the-house Christmas celebration, this annual event can help you prepare for your important task of eating Santa’s cookies later in the day. Taking place on Christmas Eve at 8:30AM, the 4 mile run will begin at the Hendy Avenue School and is sponsored by the Southern Tier Running Club. If your family’s been feeling the cabin fever, get up and out this Christmas Eve to enjoy the brisk challenge of the annual run!
Corning Museum of Glass Events
– There are nearly too many holiday opportunities at the Corning Museum of Glass from which to choose – so plan a day for a longer visit! With live glass-blowing demonstrations nearly every day and plenty of refurbished exhibits for the season, the CMoG offers plenty of warm holiday feelings. Opening every day at 9AM the museum hosts multiple exhibition spaces as well as a cafe for light fair and seasonal sweets. New Year’s Eve Bash at the Sayre VFW
– Need a classic send off for the year that no one can wait to be rid of? The Sayre, PA VFW is putting on just that send off. For $30 per ticket, you can enjoy a prime rib dinner, music, drinks, and a midnight toast this New Year’s Eve. All tickets are being sold in advance and will not be available night-of.
